At Bicton and Cockburn Paediatric Dentistry, we are aware that as a parent you may be anxious about your child’s first dental appointment.  Please feel reassured that our staff are very supportive of parents who have children with Autism and every effort will be made to work with you to develop a positive outcome.

There are a number of ways we can assist you. Some parents have found it helpful to develop a plan with one of our Paediatric Dentists prior to their child’s first dental appointment. In addition we have a generic social story for Cockburn Paediatric Dentistry and an optional questionnaire that may assist us in supporting your child during their first appointment.
