The Paediatric Dental Specialists at Bicton and Cockburn Paediatric Dentistry are celebrating World Cavity-Free Future Day on Wednesday 14 October 2020.
World Cavity-Free Future Day (WCFFDay) was launched as an initiative in 2016 by the Alliance for a Cavity-Free Future (ACFF). Its mission is to address the need for greater global awareness of dental caries, the disease which, when left unaddressed, can lead pain, loss of teeth and reduced quality of life. In addition, ACFF focuses on the wider issues that stem from poor dental health and raises global awareness about best practices for the prevention and management of dental caries.
WCFFDay is a global awareness day celebrated around the world aiming to engage communities and encourage political change and action towards achieving a cavity-free future.
